The January 2008 Trailer Boats Excellence in Design issue spotlighted 45 trendsetter boats that are leading boating into the future. The Stingray 250CS was one of the boats featured.

When it comes to boat cabins, it's often the little things that count, and there are lots of those on board Stingray's 250CS. First off, the overhead leading through the companionway into the cabin is sloped to add extra headroom—sure to be appreciated by the taller people in your group. The galley also represents forward thinking. Besides a fiddled counter that helps keep things from flying off when the water gets rough, the coolest touch si the built-in organizer in the back, which has places to stash bottles of merlot, silverware, or other items. And because it's deeply angled, what's stowed will stay stowed, even in a sea. Sweet.

The 250CS' sleeping arrangements will accommodate four and include a midcabin berth with an unusually tall entrance, above which you'll find an upper locker in an area that's often underutilized on other boats. With so many little luxuries, you may never want to go back to land.

The difference is in the details. That's why we applaud this elegantly simple, built-in organizer in the back of the 250CS's galley. Thanks to its deep angle, anything you stow there will stay put. Neat.
